Entertaiment is any activity that diverts, amuses, or entertains people in their leisure time. It can include activities such as watching movies or television, listening to music or attending concerts, playing sports or games, reading books or poetry, and appreciating visual art. It can also mean creating and participating in entertainment, such as creating a game or writing a story. The word comes from the Latin entretenement, which means “to treat with care.”
